While many doctors' love of science launch their careers, Laura Ramsay, MD, FACOG followed her passion for arts to her career in medicine. She had a career in classical ballet with the Kirov Ballet in Russia and after experiencing sports medicine from a patient's perspective she discovered an opportunity to make a difference in people's lives. She has a passion for all of women's health but is particularly interested in adolescent health, eating disorders, exercise in pregnancy and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Ramsay is married to her husband David, a gastroenterologist. They enjoy being outside, taking trips to the mountains or the beach with their son and daughter. In her free time she enjoys doing yoga, Pilates and dancing.
